Our story with True Shot Photography started 2 years ago when we purchased a voucher for a family photoshoot, myself, my husband and three children attended their very trendy/modern studio in Park West. Our middle daughter has additional needs and she would need extra attention or encouragement, so on the day we explained this to the team and Austin just took over from the very start and just made the environment fun, safe and friendly, he took time and the interest to win our daughters trust so she felt at ease, we are forever grateful for his patience as we have found in the past that studio time is limited so photographers would be clock watching, but not Austin & Laurence they gave us all the time we needed. In the end we forgot they were taking photo’s and just had a ball, the kids got so involved and that was down to Austin & Laurence making everyone feel happy & enjoy our time in the studio. We left the studio that day knowing True Shot Photography would be our wedding photographers for the wedding we were planning two years later.
Two years later Austin & Laurence made our wedding day fun, memorable and ensured we got exactly what we asked for. Their attention to detail is outstanding, they met with us in the hotel a few weeks before our wedding to have a walk through, they just put your mind at rest, give you great tips and just make sure you are both ease. My Dad wanted a photo taken on the wooden bridge in Dollymount Beach and our wedding was 4th January so you can imagine the weather but this did not phase Laurence at all, to get the perfect shot on the day he lay down on the wooden bridge in his three piece suit not caring he was going to ruin his own suit just to get the perfect shot. The lads are so professional, courteous and fun, we never stopped laughing all day, great bit of craic.
Sara in the office from start to finish keeps in contact with you, always there to answer any queries and never in a rush to get you off the phone. The whole team Sara, Austin and Laurence are so generous with their time, they were more than our wedding photographers, they were our friends on the day. True Shot Photography are genuine, decent, talented professionals. No words justifies how amazing they are.

Well what can I say…. We has the pleasure of meeting Austin, Laurence and Sara at our engagement photo shoot. To say they are amazing is an understatement. From the second we met them we felt at ease and had so much fun.
A couple of weeks before the wedding they came out to meet us at home, go to the church and then onto the venue, we were with them for at least 4 hours and they just made you feel comfortable.
From the moment they arrived on the morning of the wedding until they left, we were smiling and laughing! We had so much fun, no smile was forced and felt like we were best friends by the end!
Even after the wedding Sara, Laurence and Austin went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with all pictures and were so patient while we picked pictures for our album.
They are really professional and talented at what they do, made our wedding day so enjoyable and have the most amazing photos to look back on!
We wouldn’t recommend anyone else !

Austin and Laurence are very professional, hugely talented and very generous with their time. The lads met us at our church and wedding venue a few weeks before the wedding. They were so good to do that, we really appreciated it and we had a great day with them. It prepared us for the day. They gave us good advice and tips on what makes a good photograph. They even threw in a few life lessons for good measure!
On the day itself we couldn’t have been happier. Austin and Laurence are so much fun. They are great people to be around. They were so good to us, so good with our guests and a big hit with the kids. Austin and Laurence are also very lucky to have Sara on the team. She is very efficient and so nice to deal with. From the moment we walked into their studio for our engagement shoot Austin, Laurence & Sara went above and beyond our expectations.
From visiting our venue multiple times due to a last minute change, to adding some serious comedic moments to our big day. A lot of the smiles captured on camera were due to their presence. They really added something special to our wedding day in addition to the great photos.
My sister booked the guys straight after our wedding for her wedding. We got loads of compliments from our guests to say how great, funny and stylish the guys were.

We had the absolute pleasure of receiving a present of a voucher to go for a photo shoot with True Shot Photography. From the moment both myself and Lar walked into the studio we know that we had found the photographers for our wedding.
We were put at ease straight away with the humour and professionalism of Austin and Laurence.
There was absolutely no pressure what so ever on what wedding package you went for as it was explained to us you go with the budget you have.
On the actual day the guests all commented how relaxed and professional the guys were. We were so happy with the photos, especially the ones that had special effects. They captured the day as a wonderful memory forever.
I feel myself and Lar have met three lovely people who mean so much to us and brought a extra spark to our lives and the work they do.

If I could give them anymore stars I would! We had gotten a voucher of an engagement shoot back in 2015 and by the end of the shoot our faces hurt from laughing and we had made our minds up. We had to have them three years on for our wedding and we got our photos back and I’m so glad we went with our instinct.
They really helped the run of the day, got the most amazing shots and really kept us calm and in the moment reminding us that even though we were taking an hour from our guests it was our day and our photos were what we have to remind us of the day. They went beyond being photographers on the day and we look forward to many more happy photos with them.

We went for an engagement photoshoot at the end of 2016. Three friendly faces greeted us at the door as soon as we came in – Sara, Austin and Laurence. To say that we had a laugh during the photoshoot is an understatement, we were made feel so welcome and relaxed. After a small chat with them it was a very easy choice for us to book them for our wedding day!
Prior to the wedding, the guys arranged a meeting with us at our wedding venue. The walk through was extremely helpful and calming since it gives you a great idea of what to expect on the actual day. Five weeks on we now have our wedding photos and we are absolutely delighted with the quality and different ideas Austin and Laurence had. Every guest at the wedding spoke so highly of them. Don’t bother looking for any other photographers for your wedding. This family run business is simply the best! We had our engagement shoot with Austin, Laurence and Sara and within a few minutes were won over. We booked them for our wedding by the end of the shoot. These wonderful guys emanate genuine friendliness and warmth and keep in touch from the initial booking through to the pre wedding walk through and the day itself, giving invaluable advice at each part of the process. On the wedding day itself, they felt like our guests, we found them laughing and joking with friends and family, entertaining the children during the meal and basically going the extra mile when they didn’t have to.
Having our photos taken after the ceremony wasn’t an ordeal, they made it such fun and got the most amazing shots for us in the midst of very changeable weather conditions. They even stopped awhile with us in a quiet space and just said, ‘take a minute, slow down, take it all in’ and let us have that moment. Various group photos were easily organised due to Austin’s entertaining and light hearted way of managing the shoot with Laurence on stand by ready to get that perfect shot.
By the end of the wedding day, it was like saying goodbye to good friends. Many of our family and friends commented on funny, friendly, and lovely the guys were and said we had found a great team. We collected our wedding album this weekend and relived the day again. The photos, as expected, were magnificent. The album, retold the story of our day. Thank you, Austin, Laurence and Sara for being such a wonderful team and bringing something extra special to our special day. We just can’t recommend True Shot Photography enough.

We are so happy to have had the presence of True Shot Photography on our big day. From the very beginning we were blown away by Laurence, Austin and the super organised Sara. Always looked forward to going to their studio for the chats and leaving with big smiles. We went with the engagement shoot beforehand which was great to get to see how the guys work and to make our two dogs part of our day. We did a walk through of our venue with Laurence and Austin a few weeks before the wedding which was very helpful and put my mind at rest as to how the day would flow.
When the day arrived it all flowed so well as there had been so much preparation put into our big day by all the True Shot Photography Team. Photos were taken very relaxed throughout the day with no pressure felt by anyone. Four months later, Dave and I have the most amazing photo album and plenty more photos to look at, happily bringing back all the memories. I cannot recommend True Shot Photography enough. If you want the job done right and to enjoy the whole experience this is the team you want. We cannot wait to use True Shot again in the future. We will look no further.

Can’t praise these guys enough. We first met them when we came in for a photo shoot with our baby and we really warmed to their professionalism and personalities. Then we booked them for our wedding. Austin and Laurence came out and they were amazing, they helped us relax so much as they were with us throughout the whole day. Austin even sowed my veil back on when it fell off the clip!!
They were so good with all the kids too. We collected our photos today and absolutely love them. These guys have such talent. They gave us our pics on a glass memory stick which was engraved with our names and the lid and box matched our colour theme. After being in the studio and meeting Laurence and Austin we were taken aback at their professionalism and their sense of fun. We had a great time in the studio taking pictures just laughing and having a fun time. After seeing previous work that True Shot Photography had done we quickly made a decision to book them for our wedding.
We could not have asked for a better service. True Shot Photography are so personal and do what ever you ask of them. When we got engaged, my wife and I received a wonderful engagement gift. It was a photo session to commemorate the engagement with True Shot photography. At this stage we had not planned anything for our wedding, but by the time we were finished that first session, we knew exactly who we wanted to be our wedding photographers.
On the day of the wedding I was amazed to find them standing in the hotel lobby when I was on my way down to breakfast at the crack of dawn. They were calm and prepared. More than that, they were full of energy and enthusiasm, and their very presence added to the fun of the day. When they were putting people into their places for photos, they did it quickly but kindly, not bossing people around. And I was even more amazed when the two men were still there well into the evening, because they wanted to get some of the atmosphere after the dinner, and a photo of the bride and groom at sunset.
As for the photos … when we arrived at the studio a few weeks after the wedding, expecting to look through hundreds of photos to pick our favourites for the album, we were instead presented with a completely finished wedding album. A new style of album had become available and they decided to use our wedding as the basis for their “display model”. However having seen their take on the album, we knew that we couldn’t possibly improve on it.
However, in their safe hands, the end result is a photo album that is simply incredible. Every time we open it we completely relive the whole day, from morning to night. There are plenty of photos with our family and friends, but also some of the most stunning and artistic photos you could ever hope for. And that’s coming from someone who doesn’t particularly like having his photo taken!
All in all, my wife and I just cannot recommend True Shot Photography more wholeheartedly. We certainly mention them to anybody we know who is getting married. And as our own lives go on, we hope to pay them many more visits for all of those family occasions that we want perfectly captured.

We had these guys as our wedding photographers, and we couldn’t have got 2 better lads, they made our day really special for us and we are over the moon with our wedding pictures. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get professional pictures taken, especially for weddings as you wont be disappointed, As they not only took amazing photos but they made our day so enjoyable and were such great craic that it took the pressure off us being nervous getting all the photos taken.
Unfortunately it rained on our wedding day so our original plans we had discussed with the lads of having the pictures taken outside on the roof terrace couldn’t happen but we were amazed at how well the photographers adjusted and found fab alternative indoor places to do our photo shoot. We definitely plan on recommending them to anyone we know getting married in the future and plan to use them ourselves for future family photo shoots.
